My name is Rebecca and I am the illustrator/embroidery artist behind The Yellow Wallpaper.
As you may have noticed by work is on the darker side. Drawing influences from gothic Victoriana, death customs, the occult and pagan traditions. Adding a touch of femininity with roses and delicate florals. I work on a small scale as I enjoy adding lots of small detailing with metallic threads and seed beads. I aim to produce work that is romantic yet gothic and is full of historical influences.
